Shirley Ann Wisecup

WISECUP, Shirley Ann, age 92, of Troy, went home to be with the Lord, March 8, 2024. She was born April 18, 1931 in Fairborn, Ohio; the daughter of the late Roy and Janice (Brown) Kress. Along with her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Wisecup; brother, Gene Kress; and sister, Patricia Kress. She is survived by her son, Greg (Pam) Wisecup; grandchildren, Lisa (Dana) McElroy, Sara (Victor) Jefferson, Chelsie Wion, and Dalton (Andrea) Saylor; great-grandchildren, Alex, Brandon, Brooke, Colt, and Noah; great-great grandchildren, Haven, Graysen, Paysleigh, and Ahmyir; and numerous extended family members and friends. 

Shirley was a devout Christian for over 60 years. In her free time, she loved to craft. Shirley was compassionate with everyone she met as she never met a stranger—her love for God shown with every person as she was so loving and giving. What she loved most of all other than her love for Christ, was her beautiful family whom will miss her dearly. 

A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 11:00AM at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Road, Kettering, OH 45429. Family and friends may visit from 10:00AM until the time of service. Shirley will be laid to rest with her husband, John, at Willow View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County because of their excellent care of Shirley.
