It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Stacy Nicholas Stenger, a beloved son, father, and the dedicated owner of Pinnacle Road Automotive, LLC. Born on April 17, 1957, to Thomas B. and Rita Irene Stenger, Stacy's journey through life was marked by passion, commitment, his own quiet unique sense of humor, and an unwavering love for the automobile industry.Stacy was a proud graduate of Centerville High School, having earned his diploma in 1975. He took over the family ethos from his grandfather, C.A. Stenger, who founded Stenger's Ford, which had been a fixture in the Dayton community. Stacy worked diligently in new & used car auto sales during the 1980s alongside his father, pouring his heart into the family business. Later, he established Pinnacle Road Automotive, where his passion for the industry continued. His commitment to his work and the relationships he built with his customers defined his career until illness curtailed his activities in 2025.Stacy is lovingly remembered by many, including his loyal colleagues, friends, & even his former wife, Carol (Johnson) whom he jokingly referred to as "Carol the Ex". He is predeceased by both his parents, grandparents, his Aunt Dorothy (Rehling) and his only son, Kyle A. Stenger, whose memory will remain with those who knew him.
A private funeral service will follow a celebration of Stacy's life for those wishing to remember the countless contributions he made to the lives of friends, former and current, and the dedication he had toward his co-workers and friends of the industry. Further details regarding the service will be provided in the coming days.As we mourn the loss of Stacy, we also celebrate a life well-lived, a life dedicated to family, friends, and the industry he loved. May he rest in peace, forever remembered in the hearts of those lives he touched.
A celebration of life will be held at Routsong Funeral Home in Kettering, Ohio (2100 E. Stroop Road), at a future date with a memorial service to follow.
