Steven R. Kimble

Steven R. Kimble, age 74, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on January 30, 2026.

A Dayton native, Steven was born on September 2, 1951, to Edward and Betty Kimble. In 1966, his life was forever changed at the young age of fifteen in a tragic car accident that claimed the life of his father, and left Steven seriously injured. Despite the hardships he faced, he graduated from Fairmont West High School in 1970 and continued his education at Ohio University. He made a career in the automotive manufacturing industry, working for Chevrolet until his retirement. Later in Steven’s life, he met and married Julia White.

Steven was preceded in death by his father (1966) and mother (2018). He is survived by his wife, Julia; two loving brothers, Robert Kimble and Edward Kimble; and nephew, Christopher Kimble.

A private burial will take place at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton, where Steven will be laid to rest next to his parents.
