It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Sue Ann Wildasinn (née Clark). Born on October 10, 1931, she went home to be with our Lord on May 13, 2026. Her love, kindness, creativity, generous hospitality and quick wit made a lasting imprint on everyone she met. And to the ones she cherished most, she was “Susie,” “mom,” “grandma” and “great-grandma.”
Sue loved life deeply and lived with a spirit of wonder. Her passion for travel and art carried her across continents, where she discovered new cultures and stood in the world’s most historic and awe-inspiring places. She returned home with treasures and photographs and she painted stunning watercolors inspired by her adventures – all which brought to life the stories of her experiences and the people she met along the way. Yet the greatest treasures of all were the memories made as she graciously shared these experiences with her husband and their children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and her sister and best friend Judith Henson.
Sue also enjoyed watercoloring, interior design, hosting parties and watching birds! Early in her life, she rode horses and took flying lessons, ultimately completing a solo flight. She earned an associate’s degree in Interior Design from Stevens College. After completing her studies, Sue began working as an interior designer in Dayton, Ohio. It was during a project for his parents that she met Gregory Fell Wildasinn. As they say, the rest was history – the two fell in love, married and went on to build a beautiful family.
Later, Sue became the Director of Volunteers for Miami Valley Hospital where her playful spirit, warmth and hospitable nature brought light to those in need.
Sue was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Greg. She is survived by her sister, Judith Henson (Jesse Lowell); her children, Wendee (John) and Jeffrey (Mary Jane); her four grandsons, Bryan (Cari), David, Tim Sutyak (Riley) and Sean Sutyak; and five lovely great-grandchildren.
To commemorate the beauty and brightness Sue brought to so many, the family will host a Celebration of Life Service July 10, 2026. The visitation is at 11:00am with the Memorial service following at 11:30 am at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering.
