Susan L. Niswonger

NISWONGER, Susan Lynn, age 80, of Moraine passed away on September 12, 2025. Susan was born in Dayton on October 31, 1944 to parents Richard and Ida Wilcox.

Susan was a talented machinist with RW Machining for around 20 years. In her later years, she worked as a cashier and customer service representative at Lowe’s.

In her free time, Susan loved to read and watch TV - she especially loved murder-mysteries, cooking shows, and veterinarian shows.

Susan is survived by her son, Jack Niswonger; daughter, Tracy (Ricky) Hite, and their three boys; sisters, Sally Wilson and Marcy Thomas, and brother Scott Wilcox. She is preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Routsong Funeral Home Kettering (2100 E. Stroop) from 5-6pm, with a service to follow starting at 6pm.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nursing team at Kettering Post Acute Care for their care and compassion.
