Susan Pratt

PRATT, Susan, age 72, of Kettering, OH, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. She was born on July 14, 1953, to the late John and Naomi Jeane Pratt, in Dayton, OH. Susan attended Southview School for several years before becoming involved with the MCBDD. She joined the Resident Home Association family and has resided at the Springmill Home for 38 years where she became part of a loving and caring group of ladies and caregivers. Her family is grateful for the love and compassion shown to Susan and her family. Susan enjoyed crafting, watching The Golden Girls, rolling ribbons and of course ICEEs. Her spunky and loving character will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and niece, Tina Schulte.

Susan is survived by her sisters, Cathy (John) Payne, Mary Ann (Tom) Shultz, and Ann (Steve) Schulte; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

A visitation will be held from 10-12pm on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering, OH 45429, with a funeral service to follow. Burial at Calvary Cemetery Dayton. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Resident Home Association 3661 Salem Avenue, Dayton, OH 45406. The family would also like to thank VITAS Hospice for their wonderful care.
