Ted Joseph Brannan

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ted Joseph Brannan, aged 61, of Huber Heights, Ohio. Ted left this world on June 26, 2024. Born on December 11, 1962, in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of Gilbert and Patsy Brannan.

After graduating from Tecumseh High School in 1981, Ted bravely served his country in the army before embarking on a successful career as an auto mechanic and later as a roll-off box truck driver for over two decades. A true enthusiast of all things automotive, Ted found his greatest joy in customizing muscle cars for drag racing, with a special affinity for Plymouth Dusters.

When Ted wasn't working or racing, he indulged in his love for classic rock music, attending concerts and cheering on his beloved Cincinnati Reds baseball team. Ted’s personality and passion for life will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Patsy Brannan, his wife Kathy Brannan of 26 years, and his brother Gilbert Brannan Jr. Ted is survived by his brother Steve Brannan and his wife Kathy, as well as his sons Randy Bostwick, Rick Bostwick, and Matt Bostwick. Additionally, he leaves behind his cherished grandchildren Ian, Isabella, Cadence, Xavier, Lilah, Ella, and his loyal canine companion Lilly.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Ted's life will be announced at a later date, allowing family and friends the opportunity to pay their respects and share their condolences during this difficult time of loss. May his memory live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
