Thomas D. Dovel

65, of Centerville, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2002. He attended Roanoke College in Roanoke, VA, completed his masters degree from Miami University in Oxford, OH and worked on his doctorate at Ohio State University. Thomas was employed at Wright State University for over 30 years. He was chair of the Marketing Department in the College of Business. Thomas was also actively involved in the Dayton Chapter of A Special Wish Foundation Inc. for 10 years and served as chairman of the board for 7 years. He was actively involved in Wright Patterson Air Force Base Young Heroes Association for nine years. Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, Myles D. and Ethel T. Dovel. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Nella Dovel; daughter, Linda Dovel of Miamisburg; son, and daughter-in-law, Thomas & Linda Dovel of Lewis Center; Joe Prather of Dayton and many special friends. Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, January 16, 2002 at 5:00 P.M. in the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Family will receive friends from 4-5:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
