Thomas D. Morgan

MORGAN, Thomas D., age 82, of Kettering passed away Friday, October 22, 2021. Tom was born to Walter and Edith Morgan in New York, NY on April 30 1939. He graduated from High School in NY and went on to attend Parks College in St. Louis, earning his B.S in Aeronautical Engineering. After graduating Tom went on to begin his long career at Wright-Patt AFB, and retired after 47 years of service. Following his retirement Tom went on to start his own business, Morgan Aviation Services LLC, where he acted as a liaison between clients and the FAA as a DER. He was a long time member of Ascension Catholic Church. In his free time Tom enjoyed birding, and loved spending time in nature. Tom was also a big fan of auto racing.

He was preceded in death by his parents Walter D. and Edith M. Morgan as well as his wife of 53 years, Susan A. Morgan.

Tom is survived by his children, Perry Morgan, Pete (Linda) Morgan, Kristen Morgan; grandchildren, Kelly and Matthew Morgan.

A service will be held at 11am at Routsong Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 with a visitation beginning one hour prior at 10am. The service will be followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
