Washington Twp

PATTERSON, Thomas Mark, age 69, of Washington Twp., passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023. Thomas was born to Robert L. and Correne C. (Rockhill) Patterson on May 4, 1954, in Cincinnati, OH. He graduated from Fairmont West in 1972. Thomas attended The Ohio State University and graduated from the University of South Florida with a Marine Biology degree in 1977. After shrimp farming in Central and South America, he returned home and established Foremost Seafood in 1983. This local business is a favorite of many residents and has been enjoyed by famous performers, such as Elton John. A devoted and caring family man, he loved more than anything to play with his children whether it was Indian Princess activities when they were young or golf when they were older. Thomas enjoyed walking his dog, Benny, in the park, grilling food for his family, and swimming in the backyard on a warm sunny day. He took pleasure in the simple things in life and was the man that everyone loved to like. Thomas is survived by his mother, Correne C (Rockhill) Patterson Moran; wife, Pamela Jean (Juzwiak); children, Chelsie Lyn and Kristen Addi Patterson, his brothers, Mike (Sandy) and Dan Patterson; sisters, Carol Bradley and Sharon Snyder. The family will greet friends from 4-8 PM on Thursday, June 8 at Cox Arboretum’s Fifth Third Conference Center, 6733 N Springboro Pk, Dayton. Thomas will be laid to rest privately at David’s Cemetery Columbarium.
