Tina Marie Gillespie, a compassionate soul who touched the lives of many, peacefully passed away on November 17th, 2023, at the age of fifty-six. She was born on October 13th, 1967, in Greenville, Ohio.

Tina's journey began in Versailles, Ohio.  She graduated from Versailles High School in 1986. Her thirst for knowledge led her to Wright State University, where she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business and Marketing in 1990. Driven by her dedication to excellence, Tina returned to Wright State to complete her Master's degree in Supply Chain and Logistical Analysis in 2012, solidifying her expertise in her chosen field.

Throughout her professional career, Tina showcased her talent as a Supply Chain Analyst in various industries. From her early days at Woolworth, the esteemed department store, to her time at Gibson Greetings, the world's second-largest greeting card company, Tina's analytical skills and dedication impressed colleagues and peers alike. She later transitioned to Honda, where she spent many years contributing to the automotive industry.

Tina's faith was an integral part of her life, and she was a long-standing member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. Her devotion to her beliefs reflected in her active participation in parish activities and her unwavering commitment to her church community.

In 1987, Tina met the love of her life, Eric Gillespie, at 1st Stop dance hall. Their love story blossomed over the years, and on June 17th, 1995, they joyously tied the knot. Tina immersed herself in the role of a devoted wife and nurturing mother to their two children, Aaron and Marcus. Her passion for creating a loving home resonated through her tireless efforts in maintaining a warm and welcoming environment for her family.

Tina was a woman of great compassion, always lending a helping hand to those in need. She served as the secretary for the Stebbins High School Marching Band Boosters and devoted countless hours to the St. Peter's food pantry. As part of the Lunch Buddies program at Honda, she mentored high school students from the Troy area, providing guidance and support.

In her rare moments of leisure, Tina enjoyed spending time with her beloved Girls Night Out group, immersing herself in the joys of music and dancing. Tina was fun loving person and always known for being part of the good time crowd. When she walked through the door you always knew your day was going to be better just because she was there.  She possessed a keen eye for decorating and ensured that her home was always adorned beautifully for holidays, creating cherished memories with her family. Tina's love for reality TV series was unparalleled; she found solace in the drama and excitement they offered.

Tina is survived by her loving husband, Eric Gillespie, her parents, Virgil and Barbara Frantz, her brother Brent (Tricia) Frantz, her cherished children, Aaron and Marcus, and her sisters-in-law, Joyce (Lee) Whitaker, Michelle Gillespie, and Julie Gillespie. She also leaves behind her adored nieces and nephews, Lauren and Jordan Whitaker, and Aidan and Dylan Frantz.

Friends and family are invited to attend the visitation on Friday, November 24th, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Routsong Funeral Kettering Chapel (2100 E Stroop Rd, Kettering). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 25th, 2023, at 10:30 am at Saint Peter Catholic Church (6161 Chambersburg Rd, Huber Heights). Following the ceremony, Tina will be laid to rest in a solemn burial at the Saint Valbert Cemetery in Versailles, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Life Connections, a cause dear to Tina's heart. Even in death Tina was still able to touch the lives of many and helped by being an organ doner.

Tina Marie Gillespie will forever be remembered for her compassionate spirit, unwavering love for her family, and her countless contributions to her community. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her memory bring comfort to all those whose lives she touched.
