Tyler Thomas Acres

ACRES, Tyler Thomas, age 23, of Washington Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 25, 2021 in the loving care of his parents, Brennan and Tina Acres.

Tyler was born and raised in Centerville, graduating from Centerville High School with the Class of 2017. #EPND! Tyler was a young man on the go, visiting every place he could. He participated in TOP Soccer and The South Dayton Miracle League. Tyler was known and loved by many. He showed bravery, courage, and wisdom that everyone who knew him tried to emulate.

The family would like to express gratitude to Tyler’s care givers and the staff of Dayton Children’s Hospital who took exceptional care of him over the years.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Katie Marie and will be forever missed by his entire family. Tyler is survived by his parents Brennan and Tina Acres of Centerville; maternal grandparents, Tom and Bobbie Rizzo of Centerville; paternal grandparents, Hoyal and Joan Acres of Vonore, TN; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family will greet friends on Friday, December 3 from 4-8 pm at Routsong Funeral Home in Kettering. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, December 4 at 11 am at The Church of the Incarnation in Centerville.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family for the Tyler and Katie Acres Scholarship fund.
