Vesta Pandora Williams

WILLIAMS, Vesta P., age 80, of Centerville, passed away, Saturday, July 15, 2000. She had retired as a nurse's assistant from Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles, CA. Vesta was a member of Centerville Seventh-day Adventist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Benny Williams; 2 brothers, Wellesley Broomfield and Guygas Broomfield; and 1 half sister, Gertrude. Survived by her 3 brothers, Pastor Joshua Broomfield and his wife, Verna, of Chesapeake VA, Pastor Fernando Broomfield and his wife, Lynn, of Montego Bay, Jamaica, and Glen Bloomfield and his wife, Ocie, of Los Angeles CA; sister-in law, Etta Broomfield of Costa Rica; niece, Dr. Diana Broomfield Lecointe and her husband, Dr. Darius Lecointe, grand nephews, James and Jovan Lecointe, of Centerville, with whom Vesta resided; numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins, her church family and countless number of friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 21st, at 2:00 P.M. in Centerville Seventh-day Adventist Church, 456 Spring Valley Road, Centerville, with Pastor Kelvin Mitchell officiating. The family will greet friends Thursday evening from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. in the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville. Burial will be in Centerville Cemetery.
