LTC Vicki L. Clark

CLARK, LTC. Vicki L., age 83, of Kettering, OH, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026. She was born on August 25, 1942, to the late Frank and Eileen Clark, in Portsmouth, OH. Vicki graduated from Portsmouth H.S. and continued her education at the Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing in 1963. She later graduated from University of Cincinnati and became a nurse anesthetist, serving in that role at Kettering Medical Center for 25 years. In addition to her civilian nursing career, Vicki proudly served her country through the military reserve system for 30 years. She joined the US Air Force Reserve Nurse Corps in 1968, later transferring to the Army Reserve 2291st General Hospital Unit until her retirement as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1998.

Vicki traveled extensively to Europe, New York City, and many beaches over the years. She enjoyed snow-birding to Florida for over 20 years, along with her best friend Carol. Vicki was a season ticket holder for both OSU Buckeyes football and the Cincinnati Reds, could often be found in attendance at the games. Her kind heart and dependable nature will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother Gary Clark.

Vicki is survived by best friend, Carol Edgington; sister-in-law, Pam Clark; nephew, Jeff (Stacie) Clark; niece, Angela Clark; longtime friends, Mark Edgington, Jill Parrett, Jan Durham, and Dan (Cindy) Edgington, and numerous extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 10-11am on Monday, June 15, 2026, at Christ United Methodist Church, 3440 Shroyer Rd. Kettering, OH 45429, with a funeral service to follow at 11am. Burial at David’s Cemetery, Kettering. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Humane Society of Greater Dayton or Schnauzer Rescue Cincinnati.
