KRANER, Victoria “Vicki” A., age 81, of Washington Township, OH, formerly, of Pickerington, Wilmington, and London, OH, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. Vicki was born on September 7, 1945 to the late Herbert and Miriam Wooley, in Pickerington, OH.
Vicki married her high school sweetheart Bob. She was a dedicated wife that worked on the farm caring for the sheep farm and retired schoolteacher. Vicki earned her bachelor’s degree in education from The Ohio State University, and later her master’s degree in education from Wilmington College. She had a long and distinguished career as an educator, predominantly in social studies and music, and proudly achieved her National Teacher Certification. At 81 years old, she was the busiest lady, always on the go. She had many hobbies and interests, including collecting Heisey glassware, exercise classes, chair yoga, and line dancing at the YMCA, attending concerts, singing in choir, and playing the French horn and piano. She had a natural love for music and enjoyed bird watching, visiting the library, playing cards with her card group, and treasure hunting at Goodwill and estate sales.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of over 55 years, Robert E. Kraner Jr. Vicki is survived by her children, Todd Kraner (Becky Miller) and Beth (Jerry) Carpenter; brothers Eric (Brenda) Wooley and Rod (Anne) Wooley; sisters-in-law, Sharon Kraner and Bev Couchman; and grandchildren, Brittany (Sam) Davis, Brooke (Jake) Hammonds, Courtney (fiancé Ryan), Kyle, Kennedy, Christian, Beth, Amy (Brandon), Kyle, Michelle (Nathan), and Craig; and great-grandchildren Theo, Sutton, Wesley and Thomas.
Services will take place, Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St, Centerville, OH 45459. Visitation from 9 am to 10 am, followed by the Service 10 am to 11 am, then the Burial will be at Carroll Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dayton Metro Barbershop Chorus or Vitas Hospice of Dayton. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.routsong.com.
