age 80 of Kettering, died Sunday, Sept., 17, 2000. He was born in Sidney, Ohio and had lived in Dayton 63 years. Virgil retired form G.M. Delco Moraine after 30 years of service. he was a member of Sugar Creek Presbyterian Church for 39 years and had been an elder and deacon. Virgil was also a member of St. John's Masonic Lodge #13 F&AM and a 32nd Degree Mason. Survived by his loving wife, Rosemary; 2 sons, Robert, and Stephen and his wife Barbara; 3 grandchildren, Jill Taura, Laura Ort and Robert Baty; and 4 great grandchildren, Joshua, Brandon, Catherine and Harrison. Virgil will be sorely missed by all who know and loved him. The family wishes to thank Hospice for their care. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 P.M. Thursday at Sugar Creek Presbyterian Church, 4417 Bigger Rd., Kettering. The family will receive friends from 5-8:00 P.M., Wednesday in the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Masonic services at 8:00 P.M. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:00 A.M., Thursday for burial in Woodland Cemetery. If desired, contributions may be made to Sugar Creek Presbyterian Church.
