Virginia Ruth Lilly

LILLY, Virginia Ruth “The Rose Lady”, age 81, of Kettering passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021. Virginia was born December 22, 1939 in Dayton, Ohio to Mr. and Della (Wadsworth) Fisher.

Known as “The Flower Lady” or “Rose Mom”, she made flowers her life’s work, travelling to various Dayton establishments selling flowers until the age of 70. Virginia also loved to dance, and enjoyed going out to eat.

She is survived by her son, Frank (Laura Teutsch) Lilly; great friend, Norma Hopper; and her loving nurse, Carrie, and all the staff at Heartland of Kettering.
