Vivian Katherine Geisert

GEISERT, Vivian K., age 99, of Centerville, OH passed away on Thursday April 28, 2022. Vivian was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, its East Oak Circle, and the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post #9927. Vivian graduated from Kiser High School in 1941. During WW-II she was employed by Civil Service at Wright Field and served as a volunteer Red Cross Nurse’s Aid at Miami Valley Hospital. Following WW-II, she and Fred Geisert were married and lived in Dallas, Texas; Gardena, California: and Seattle, Washington. After retirement and before settling in Dayton, she and Fred spent eight happy years touring the entire United States in a van and travel trailer. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Geisert, parents and sister, Virginia Stutsman brother: Roy Wesley (Patricia) Smith, and cousins: Dale and Merle Niekamp. Vivian is survived by Joyce Niekamp and her son, Robert A. (Jennifer) Niekamp; and many nieces and nephews. Family will greet guests at 12pm on Monday, June 6, 2022 at Woodland Cemetery Mausoleum, 118 Woodland Ave, Dayton, OH 45409, with a memorial service to be held at 12:30PM.
