W. Jewell Heffner

HEFFNER, W. Jewell, of Dayton passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at Sanctuary at Wilmington Place. She was a member of David’s United Church of Christ, Beta Tau Sigma Sorority, and Daughter’s of the Nyle Azizah Temple #57. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years Gale W. Heffner. Jewell is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Gayle and Bradley Jordan of Kettering; sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy and Lori Heffner of Fairborn, and David and Carol Heffner of Lexington, KY and four grandchildren, David, Amy, Daniel, and Emma and other family members. At Jewell’s request, a private graveside service will be held at David’s Cemetery with Pastor Rebecca Erb-Strang officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to David’s United Church of Christ, 170 W. David Rd., Kettering, OH 45429 and to the Shriner’s Hospitals for Children-Orthopedic, 1900 Richmond Rd, Lexington, KY 40502.
