KREWEDL, Waldemar Joseph, age 80, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019. Waldemar was born on February 23, 1939 in Yugoslavia.
Waldemar graduated from Chaminade High School in 1957 and Case Western Reserve University in 1961. He was a proud member of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. He was a member of the Engineers’ Club of Dayton and the Church of the Incarnation. Waldemar retired from Medway Mold. He enjoyed traveling, jazz music, and stamp collecting.
Waldemar is survived by Ophelia, his loving wife of 53 years, son, Derek, Centerville; daughter, Jennifer (James) Sheehy, Miamisburg; grandchildren, Keegan (Emily) Maxwell, Korey Sheehy and Brooke Sheehy; brother, Dieter (Beth) of Seattle, sister, Dolores Brooks (Richard) of Centerville; aunt, Marie Vukusic; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Franz and Johanna Krewedl.
Family will greet friends from 9:30 to 10:30 am on Friday, January 3, 2020 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St. Centerville, OH. A Memorial Mass will follow the visitation at 11:00 am on Friday at Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave. Centerville, OH.
Burial will immediately follow at Calvary Cemetery.
