William Bernard Rossi

ROSSI, William Bernard passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 6:33AM at Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was 1 year and four months old. William was born in uncertain times, during a pandemic that shook the world. He grew up in a learning hospital. That building taught us how to take care of him in ways we never thought possible. We learned about how to administer medicines, how to work a feeding pump, and how to do his cares. We learned how to work with a team of doctors and nurses that did their best to help him grow. William transformed us into almost unregistered nurses. He gave us motivation to better ourselves. He was our sweet little man. He was very good at snuggles and good at listening to stories. Every night we would call and read to him on speaker phone with his big sister Emma. He got to watch lots of children’s movies, listen to music, and make lots of friends at the hospital. Due to co-vid he was only allowed a few visitors but I know we enjoyed our visits with him. Even with a broken heart our little boy touched the hearts of many. He had the largest prayer chain I have ever seen. Now we ask for one more prayer. We pray that his spirit can transition to the other side of the vail and that he can finally be at peace in Heaven. He is survived by his parents, Brian and Cassandra Rossi and sister, Emma Rossi. Though his time in his world was short, his light brought out the best in all who knew him. Funeral arrangements will be held on Thursday, May 26 at 11:00AM at Routsong Funeral Home in Kettering, Ohio. Burial shall follow at David’s Cemetery also located in Kettering, Ohio.
