William "Bill" D. Elliott

William “Bill” D. Elliott, age 98, of Centerville, OH, previously of Corpus Christi, TX, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022. Bill was born to the late Wilson and Margaret (Mast) Elliot on August 20, 1923 in Ottumwa, IA. He served in the Army Air Corp during WWII where he had the opportunity to be a Navigator on a B-17. Bill graduated from Tulsa University earning a Master’s Degree there. He was a petroleum engineer and worked in the oil fields. Bill enjoyed retirement and loved traveling and reading. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betti; and second wife, Rose. Bill is survived by his son, Randy (Doreen) Elliott; Reese (Cheryl) Hunt, Doug (Sharon) Hunt, Barbara (Reggie) Hinnant; and numerous extended family members and friends. Due to Covid19, a private graveside service will be held on January 14, 2022 at 1:00 PM in Seaside Memorial Park in Corpus Christi, TX.
