William "Bill" Thomas, Ii

William “Bill” Thomas II, of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 18, 2022. Bill is survived by his children, Madeleine Thomas, Mary Hysell (Dustin), Melissa Solberg (Randy), and Megan Thomas. He is also survived by Jean Carson, Carol Snively, Bill Jackson, The Butcher Family, Brian McDonald, Mike Campbell and numerous other friends he made in his 72 years on earth.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William & Frances Thomas; and best friend, John Butcher.

Bill made a friend of anyone he encountered. He was truly the definition of a social butterfly and he loved to share stories of his past and his children. Bill loved going to Gatlinburg and if you mentioned it to him you were caught in no less than a 20 minute conversation about how beautiful it is and the best places to go. Bill had a huge heart and was always there when you needed him. He had the best sense of humor and this allowed him to win over so many amazing friends. Bill enjoyed playing trivia, dancing with Jean, and spending time with his kids. He will be missed dearly but will live on in all our hearts and memories.

Family will greet friends 4-6PM on Friday, March 25 at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 E STROOP RD, KETTERING. Memorial Services will begin at 6PM at the funeral home. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be made at www.routsong.com.
