age 85, of Bellbrook, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2005. William retired as Chief of Procurement from DESC. He served in the Air Force as a pilot during WWII. William was a member of the 25 Year Club at DESC, UD Flyers Club for 60 years, American Lebanese Club and Old Time Boxers Club. Preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Woodie; parents, Thomas and Gladys Zehennie; three sisters, Mary Ewald, Midge Nagy and Martha Gossett; two brothers, Raymond Zehennie and Paul Woodie. Survived by two daughters, Pamela (Robert) Kosins, of Sugarcreek Twp., Jeanne Woodie, of Bellbrook; step-son, Thomas Carmichael; step-daughter, Barbara Barnhart; grandchildren, Diane Dempsey, Bill, Mike and Bobby Kosins, Summer Stange, Steve, Donna, Debbie and children; great-grandchildren, Kaylah, Ryan, Luke and Eli; brother, Richard Woodie; sister, Freda Terbay and numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday at St. Francis of Assisi, 6245 Wilmington Pike, Centerville with Father Tom Schmidt officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5-8:00 PM, Wednesday at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, OH 45420.
