KINSER, William “Bill”, age 92, of Kettering, passed away Monday, September 29, 2025.
Bill was born October 25, 1932 to the late William and Adda (Frick) Kinser. A graduate of Chaminade High School in 1950, he went on to earn his master’s degree from the University of Dayton. Bill retired from Bendix Corporation. He was devout in his faith and was an active member of the Ascension parish, serving as a lector. He had a kind heart and a giving nature, working alongside his wife, Norma, with disadvantaged children, teaching them to read. Bill was most proud of being a loving father and providing for his nine children, who were his world.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Norma; son, Michael; grandson Paul; and siblings, Sister Patricia Kinser, SND and Pauline Beauregard. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Nancy (William) Kelble, Dan (Sandy), Joe, Tom (Fran), John, Mary (Jay) Girardot, Jim (Arleen), and Kathy (Larry) Seifrit); 24 grandchildren, and 34 great-grandchildren.
Family will greet friends Thursday, October 2 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, October 3 at 11:00am at Ascension Catholic Church, 2025 Woodman Dr., Kettering. Bill will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the ER and ICU staff at Kettering Medical Center, as well as the staff at Hospice of Dayton, for their excellent care of Bill. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bill’s name to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
