William Thomas Reilly

Reilly, William Thomas, age 87, of Kettering, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024.

Born August 11, 1937 to John and Marcella Reilly, William grew up in Cincinnati, OH, later moving to the Dayton area. After graduating from Elder High School in Cincinnati, he enlisted in the Air Force. Following his military service, William found work in the printing industry and owned a printing company for a period of time. Most recently, he was employed by Cardinal Health delivering nuclear medicine, a job he greatly enjoyed and reluctantly retired from at age 84. 

William was a man of faith. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, earning the rank of Grand Knight. In his leisure time, William enjoyed bowling, golf, and soccer, which he coached for a period of time. He was also an avid Notre Dame football fan, rarely missing a game.

Along with his parents, William is preceded in death by his son Tim. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Patricia; children Tom (Daphne),Colleen, Brian and Pat; seven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren; sister Barbara, and Daughter in law Sue Reilly.

The family will gather to share memories and offer prayers on Tuesday, November 5, from 6:00-8:00pm at Routsong Funeral Home in Kettering (2100 E. Stroop Rd.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Ascension Catholic Church at 11:00am on Wednesday, November 6, with burial at Calvary Cemetery to follow. Following the cemetery, the family would like to invite mourners to gather at Routsong Funeral Home in Kettering for a light reception.
