Williams, Bill age 76, formerly of Marysville, MI, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025. Bill was born on August 5, 1949, in Port Huron, MI, to the late George and June Williams. He grew up in Marysville and graduated from Marysville High School, class of 1968. Following high school, he went on to serve his country in the United States Air Force before continuing his education at Western Michigan University. There Bill earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration before starting his career in finance with Uarco. He then had a long career with the Defense Finance and Accounting Service, retiring after 25 years of service in 2006.

Throughout his life Bill was a die-hard Detroit sports fan, especially the Lions, and could often be found cheering on his favorite team on Sundays. He was always up to date on the latest world events and had a great interest in current events, politics, and history. Bill was an avid reader. One of his favorite pastimes was fishing, where he could often be found on one of Michigan’s numerous lakes. Bill’s kind and curious spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Bill is survived by his wife of 20 years, Constance Williams; son, Dennis (Brenda) Williams; grandchildren, Matthew (Whitney) Sommerville, Emily (Ian) Affleck-Asch, and Miles Williams; great-granddaughter, Olivia Affleck-Asch; step-son, Rick (Ann Marie) Lomasney; step-daughter, Annea (Keith) Fisher; step-grandchildren, Logan and Landon Lomasney; brothers, Dick and Dave Williams; and mother to his son, Janet Williams.

A memorial service will be at 11am on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Lakeside Cemetery chapel, 3663 10th Avenue, Port Huron, MI 48060, with visitation to be held an hour prior from 10-11am. Inurnment at Lakeside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The family would like to thank the nurses and caregivers at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton for the exceptional care they provided to Bill.
